Grades 2-5 Hebrew Poetry Contest
天美传媒视频 kicked off its first Hebrew Poetry Contest of the school year for students in grades 2-5. Students were challenged to write an original Hebrew poem inspired by 鈥淭ov L鈥橦odot LaHashem鈥 (Gratitude to Hashem). The response was incredible, 135 students shared poems full of heart, thought, and sincere gratitude to Hashem!
The contest concluded with a fun celebration where students read their poems aloud to friends at their tables. Each participant received a 鈥渢hank you鈥 box filled with foods representing different berachot, along with a bracelet reading 鈥淭ov L鈥橦odot LaHashem,鈥 a sweet reminder of the power of gratitude. The poems are also displayed in the halls of 天美传媒视频 for all to enjoy.
Kol hakavod to every student who took part. Each voice and idea made this contest truly special. With so many amazing entries, selecting winners was no easy task. After careful deliberation, two students from each grade were chosen as winners. Mazal tov to Zahara Hepner (2Z), Hadas Schlesinger (2V), Atara Heller (3W), Caroline Sandel (3W), Samuel Nussbaum (3X), Zack Veetal (3X), Orly Sterman (4Y), Harrison Ganz (4Z), Aiden Hakimi (5W), and Annie Harris (5Y)! The winners read their poems aloud at the celebration.
The contest showcased the creativity, thoughtfulness, and gratitude of 天美传媒视频 students. It was a joyful way to launch this wonderful program, and the excitement continues. The next Hebrew Poetry Contest is coming this winter and is sure to inspire even more amazing poems from these young poets.
